    Jobs Education and Training Services (JETS) employs education specialist to ensure that the AAA response staff is always ready with the latest in emergency medical information and technology. All AAA Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), both full and part-time, are able to easily maintain required national and state credentials with the  constant availability of the educational services JETS provides. All courses meet uniform standards and procedures of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. Education is also available for others: physicians, nurses, fire, police, and other EMS personnel of other ambulance services.

    AAA and the American Heart Association (AHA) partnered years ago allowing JETS staff to help the interested public and other first responders with education. AHA designated AAA as a Community Training Center so JETS staff could provide facilitate, and assure the quality of AHA approved courses. Heartsaver, First Aid, and CPR are example of courses available to anyone interested and wanting to “Be Ready”. Other courses available include:

    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support
    • EMT and Paramedic refresher
    • National Academy of Professional Drivers Course
    • Advanced Stroke Life Support
    • First Responder Certification Training.
